- Let have the examples of Array first:
int student[20];
float weight[25];
long popolationOfstates[29];

These are the examples of Array.
Here we can see that an Array is built from other data types, such as: int, float, long, char etc.
As an Array is built from some other data types hence an Array is called the Compound Type in C++.
An Array always has to be of some particular type.
There is no generalized Array type.

In the above examples
student is an Array of int.
weight is an Array of float
popolationOfstates is an Array of long.
